HP Business Inkjet 1100 printer is designed as the name suggests for the Business market. Unlike most HP printers on the market where the printhead is part of the ink cartridge on the HP Business Inkjet 1100 ink cartridges there is no printhead allowing for replacement cartridges at a greatly reduced cost. You can however purchase replacement printheads when the printouts reduce in quality unlike othr models where a fixed printhead can't be replaced meaning once the quality is no longer up to standard a new printer is required. In brief the HP Business Inkjet 1100 uses seperate ink cartridges without a printhead with the option to replace when needed.
